Children's Behavioral Health Home

Children’s Behavioral Health Home (Children’s BHH) is a holistic service intended to help children and families manage their behavioral health and emotional needs. Services are provided by a team of individuals comprised of a health home coordinator, a clinical team leader, a nurse, and a family support peer specialist. The team provides case management, family support and education, coordination with healthcare providers, and support from peers. As with Targeted Case Management services, Home health coordinators support families by attending school meetings, medical appointments, making referrals, and monitoring services as they progress. Services are offered to eligible children that have MaineCare.
